Today's headlines include the results of a study on the long-term use of talcum powder in the genital area and the increased risk of ovarian cancer - 30% increase - check out this article -http://www.preventcancer.com/consumers/cosmetics/talc.htm What do you think - should all talcum powder manufacturers be subject to government regulation or at the minimum, labelling as to the grade?

I'm so glad to see that you've decided to do this blog! Your website is an invaluable resource, not to just Ovarian Cancer patients but also for their caregivers and loved ones.
Keep up the great work!
I googled Johnson&Johnson re their baby powder and there is a warning about keeping it away from a baby's face and the fact that it doesn't contain asbestos. There is no such warning on the container. Would the talcum powder result in the same increased odds of ovarian cancer if your spouse used it and you basically absorbed it like second-hand smoke?
